A landlord gas safety record costs £60 to £120 for one appliance, with £15 to £25 for each additional appliance. A boiler service carried out at the same visit adds £30 to £60 rather than the full service price.

There is no legal requirement, but an annual service and safety check on a boiler is a manufacturer's warranty condition and a sensible one regardless.
What do I do if I smell gas?
Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Turn the gas off at the meter, open windows, avoid electrical switches and leave the building. The call and the attendance are free.
