About 1st Avenue Gas

1st Avenue Gas is a family-run plumbing and heating business based in Bushey, serving Hertfordshire and North London. The team carries out boiler installations and servicing, central heating work, bathroom installations, general plumbing repairs, powerflushing, landlord gas safety inspections, water filter installation and unvented cylinder fitting.

The business covers Bushey, Watford, Stanmore, Borehamwood, Radlett, Harrow, Edgware, Barnet, Northwood, Rickmansworth, Kings Langley and Abbots Langley. All engineers are Gas Safe registered, and the team holds G3 qualifications for unvented cylinders, IPHE membership and Vaillant Advance Installer accreditation. The business is fully insured.

Boiler work includes supply and installation of Vaillant boilers, with full commissioning and warranty registration. Annual servicing covers a full strip-down and inspection, heat exchanger and burner cleaning, flue gas analysis and safety device testing for all major brands. Central heating installations, radiator upgrades and system maintenance are carried out, and powerflushing removes sludge and debris before a new boiler is fitted to restore efficiency. Bathroom installations cover baths, showers, toilets, basins and wet rooms with correctly routed and tested pipework. General plumbing work ranges from leaking pipes and dripping taps to full re-pipes and cylinder replacements. Water filtration systems and unvented cylinders are supplied and installed. Landlords receive annual CP12 gas safety certificates issued on the day.

The team has over 50 years of combined experience. Free written quotes are provided after a site visit, and 0% APR finance is available over 12 or 24 months for boiler and bathroom work.
