About Abingdon Plumbing & Heating ltd
Abingdon Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating business in Abingdon-on-Thames run by director John Wickens. The business carries out boiler servicing, boiler repairs, new boiler installations, power flushing, home plumbing, air source heat pump installations, hot water cylinder work and bathroom installations. It also offers boiler cover plans with annual servicing, priority call-outs and repair discounts.
The business covers Abingdon, Didcot and the surrounding villages. Boiler servicing follows manufacturer recommendations and Gas Safe guidelines, with checks for gas leaks, carbon monoxide risks and overall system safety. Boiler repairs address heating and hot water faults, strange noises, low pressure, leaking and thermostat problems. Work is carried out by Gas Safe Registered engineers. Online booking is available, and customers choose a time that suits them. The business explains what is happening and why, and leaves homes clean and professional.
Pricing is stated to be transparent. John Wickens set up the business to bring reliability and customer care to plumbing and heating, addressing delays and long waiting times in the trade.
