About Attenborough Heating
Attenborough Heating is a family-run heating business based in Beeston, Nottingham, working across west Nottingham and east Derbyshire for over 20 years. Phil founded the business after leaving IT work, and his son Harry now works alongside him as a fully qualified engineer. Louis and Jack are engineers who came through the business's apprenticeship scheme, and Jade handles bookings and customer contact.
The business services and repairs boilers of all makes, gas fires, underfloor heating systems and hot water cylinders. It carries out annual boiler servicing at £118 including VAT, with magnetic filter cleaning, combustion testing, gas safety checks and water quality testing included. Landlord gas safety certificates (CP12s) are issued as standard with each service. Boiler repairs are diagnosed and fixed, with a £90 plus VAT call-out charge covering diagnosis and minor repairs on the spot. The business also installs new boilers, radiators, heated towel rails, unvented cylinders and general plumbing such as taps, toilets and showers. Heating control repairs cover programmers, thermostats and zone valves, and smart thermostat upgrades are fitted. Power flushing and underfloor heating installation are offered.
Attenborough Heating is Gas Safe Registered and G3 qualified for unvented hot water systems. Fixed-price quotes are provided after a site visit for larger jobs. The team wears shoe covers, lays dust sheets when needed and removes all packaging. Old equipment and scrap metal from jobs goes to Aid2Gambia, a Nottingham-based charity.
