About Castle Point Gas & Heating Co Ltd
Castle Point Gas & Heating Co Ltd is a family business based in Thundersley and South Benfleet. It has been providing domestic customers with gas, heating and electrical services for over thirty years. The business was founded in 1982 by David Wells, who remains chairman. Castle Point Gas & Heating installs and services boilers, fits new heating systems, carries out electrical work, and installs solar photovoltaic systems with battery storage.
The services listed are boiler servicing, new boiler installation, pipework, radiators, underfloor heating, electrical work including security lighting, and solar PV and battery storage installations. Work is carried out for homeowners, local authorities, housing trusts, restaurants and residential homes across the south-east. Most engineers are local people trained as apprentices with the company.
Jobs begin with a visit to discuss requirements, and free estimates are offered for solar installations. Boiler services are available at stated prices. Solar PV installations are accredited with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and approved by the Renewable Energy Consumer Code. The business is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Castle Point Gas & Heating has drawn its apprentices and engineers from local communities for over thirty years.
