About CB1 Plumbing and Heating
CB1 Plumbing and Heating is part of CB1 Group, a construction company based in Cambridge. Founded in 2012 by Alistaire Ryan, the business designs and installs complete plumbing and heating systems for new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects. Services cover hot and cold water systems, boosted supplies, plant rooms, sanitary installations and central heating systems. The business also provides reactive repairs, planned maintenance and system upgrades for occupied buildings.
CB1 Plumbing and Heating works across Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely for residential and commercial clients. The in-house mechanical team delivers systems to current regulations and industry standards. Work is carried out safely in occupied offices, industrial units and commercial spaces, with minimal disruption during installation. The business also installs renewable and low-carbon systems including heat pumps and hybrid systems, and provides filtration, system flushing and water treatment services to protect mechanical systems and improve efficiency.
CB1 Group provides end-to-end capability from design and specification through to installation, commissioning and maintenance. Recent commercial projects include work at The Garden Kitchen, Focal Point Positioning and Fitzbillies. The company works closely with local architects, structural engineers and planning consultants on larger schemes.
