About Cheshire Bathroom Fitters
Cheshire Bathroom Fitters is a father and son team based in Middlewich that supplies, designs and installs bathrooms and ensuites. The business covers Northwich, Sandbach, Knutsford and Holmes Chapel. It removes existing suites and tiles, fits new suites with ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles, and installs shower pumps and tanking membranes in wet areas. Plasterboard is fitted where needed, and all pipework has isolating valves so individual items can be switched on or off during work.
Jobs begin with a meeting to discuss requirements and ideas. A quotation follows, listing recommended products from established manufacturers. Once booked, the suite and tiles are delivered on the start date. Dust sheets protect carpets and floor coverings, and dust extractors are used throughout the day. The fitting process takes 3 to 12 days depending on complexity. Water is maintained during installation by isolating valves on all pipework. Dust sheets are taken up at the end of each day, and all fittings are checked for watertight seals and correct operation before completion.
The business sources only branded goods from established manufacturers, avoiding cheap unbranded imports that lack parts availability. Tanking membranes are fitted as standard around baths and showers to prevent water damage behind tiles. Two fitters work on each bathroom to complete the job as quickly as possible.
