The business now employs a team of twelve engineers.
The services listed are new boiler installation, boiler service, boiler repair, hot water systems, plumbing, commercial work, bathrooms, air conditioning and air source heat pumps. The business fits boilers from Worcester Bosch and Ideal Heating, and carries out emergency plumbing for leaks, burst pipes and blocked drains. Bathroom refurbishment includes tiling and sink vanity units.
Christy Plumbing & Heating covers Bedford, Kempston, Riseley, Elstow, Bromham and across Bedfordshire. All engineers are Gas Safe registered for domestic and commercial installations and have graduated from Bedford College's Gas and Plumbing Technology Centre. The team are home-grown apprentices trained by Lawrence and attend manufacturers' training and specialist courses to stay current with water and gas regulations. Work begins with a free survey and written quote. Finance options and payment plans are available, with 40 per cent taken as a deposit when an order is placed. The business has an office in Clapham where customers can visit.
