The business installs, repairs and services boilers and heating systems, including combi, system and regular boilers, and carries out annual safety checks, carbon monoxide testing and leak detection. It also handles faulty and replacement taps, electric and mixer showers, cold water tanks, leaking and burst pipes, and blocked sinks and baths.
Cummings Plumbing covers Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The business operates a two-hour appointment system and calls ahead to let customers know it is on its way. Vehicles carry parts to deal with requirements efficiently. Work is carried out by tradesmen who wear uniforms and use protective sheeting. The company holds £10m employers' liability and £2m public liability insurance.
The business has a showroom in Morningside where customers can discuss requirements and see products from UK-based suppliers and manufacturers. It works for homeowners, landlords, property management companies and letting agencies. A free quote is offered, and a key contact manages the whole process after the initial consultation. The business has been trading for nearly two decades.
