About D Bennett Gas Services
D Bennett Gas Services is a boiler servicing, repair and installation business based in Bangor with 24 years of experience. It carries out annual boiler services, repairs to faulty boilers, and new boiler installations for homeowners. A service includes visual inspection of the boiler's exterior, internal inspection with removal of the casing to check the burner, heat exchanger and ignition system, and cleaning of internal components to remove dirt, debris and soot. Safety checks test pressure relief valves, gas valves and flame sensors. Flue gas analysis checks for proper combustion, and thermostat operation is tested and calibrated. After servicing, boiler operation is tested and service documentation is completed with recommendations for any repairs or upgrades needed.
D Bennett Gas Services covers Bangor, Donaghadee, Groomsport, Newtownards, Holywood and East Belfast. The business is run by Dean Bennett. Boiler manufacturers recommend an annual service, and the business states that an annual service can save between 10-15% off energy bills. A poorly maintained boiler may cost more money and is more prone to breakdowns. Unserviced appliances can become unsafe. The business offers free quotes and can arrange appointments including same-day slots when cancellations occur.
