About Direct Plumbing & Heating Services
Direct Plumbing & Heating Services is a family-run plumbing and heating business based in Doncaster, established in 2005. It carries out domestic and commercial work across Doncaster and the wider Yorkshire area. The services listed are gas boiler installation and servicing for Baxi, Worcester Bosch and Ideal boilers, oil boiler installation for Worcester Bosch and Grant boilers with warranties of up to 10 years, air conditioning servicing, heat pump installations, bathroom renovations, power flushing, and commercial heating and plumbing.
Power flushing removes sludge, corrosion and debris from heating systems by connecting a power flushing pump to the system at couplings, a radiator tail, the boiler or another practical point. A flow director device and chemicals are used, and for stubborn build-ups a specialist Rad Hammer vibrates each radiator to dislodge deposits. Power flushing is also carried out on new heating systems to remove excess flux, swarf, grease and protective oils from manufacturing and installation. A magnetic filter is installed afterward for ongoing protection, using Magnaclean filters.
The business is an accredited installer for Baxi and Worcester Bosch boilers. Engineers are fully trained and qualified. Work begins with a visit to discuss the job, and a written quote follows.
