About East & Gray Ltd
East & Gray Ltd is a family-run plumbing and heating business based in Harpenden, trading since 1953. The firm carries out boiler installation, servicing and repairs, central heating installation and maintenance, complete bathroom installations, wetroom design and installation, cloakroom refurbishments, bath-to-shower conversions, general plumbing services, boiling water tap installation and water softener installation. Smart heating controls and upgrades are also fitted.
The business covers Harpenden, Borehamwood, St Albans, Radlett, Redbourn, Markyate, Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead. Every engineer is fully employed, trained and Gas Safe registered. A full-time office manager organises work and a dedicated project manager provides one point of contact throughout each job. The team of in-house trades have all served full trade apprenticeships, and most employees have been with the business for 20 years or more. Daily site management visits ensure standards are maintained. Carpets are protected and thorough cleaning follows each job. Water softeners are installed and maintained to reduce limescale buildup, a common issue in the Harpenden area. Free quotes are available on request.
