About Findlay Heating & Plumbing Limited
Findlay Heating & Plumbing Ltd is a heating engineering business located in Frome, Somerset. It describes its approach as personalised heating and hot water systems for homes and families, with a focus on low temperature heating and hot water, including weather compensation control options.
Its main services are air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, hot water services and boilers. The business names Viessmann and Vaillant as the boiler manufacturers it values for their innovation and energy efficiency. Underfloor heating is described as working well alongside heat pumps, and the business offers a hot water design service.
Each project begins with an initial consultation that includes a site visit, a heat loss calculation and a discussion of the customer's requirements. The heat loss calculation is used to size the heat pump or boiler and to work out the radiator sizes needed for each room, and the website notes that existing radiators may already be enough. The business also explains how air source heat pumps extract heat from the outdoor air.
