About Fred perks ltd
Fred Perks Ltd is a heating business established in 1989 and based in Shropshire. It installs, services and repairs gas and oil boilers, central heating systems, radiators, underfloor heating and thermostatic controls. The business also fits air source heat pumps, carries out powerflushing, repairs leaking and burst pipes, and provides reactive maintenance for heating and plumbing systems.
Fred Perks Ltd is Gas Safe Registered and OFTEC Registered, and it is a Worcester Bosch Accredited engineer. New gas boiler installations come with cover of up to 12 years. Work begins with a contact form, phone call or email to request a quote. A home survey follows to assess the central heating system, and a written quote is provided. Once the customer selects an installation date and pays a deposit, a Gas Safe engineer arrives to fit the new boiler. The remaining balance is paid after installation by cash, transfer, card or cheque.
Boiler servicing is offered annually to improve efficiency, extend boiler life and help prevent breakdowns. Services check for carbon monoxide leaks and faulty components. Boiler repairs are carried out on all major makes and models, and the business offers advice on maintenance to prevent future issues. Radiator installations replace old radiators or add extra warmth to rooms. Powerflushing removes sludge, rust and debris from central heating systems to improve efficiency and remove cold spots. Air source heat pumps extract heat from outside air to warm living spaces and provide hot water.
