About Groves Gas
Groves Gas is a family-run heating and plumbing business based in Cwmbrân, founded in 2006. It installs, services and repairs gas boilers, oil boilers and central heating systems across South Wales. The services listed are boiler servicing and breakdown repairs, new boiler and heating system installations, bathroom and kitchen repairs including taps and leaks, warm air central heating installation and maintenance, and HETAS-approved biomass and solid fuel stove installation. The business also offers landlord contract servicing and commercial servicing for gas and oil appliances.
Groves Gas is a Worcester Bosch accredited partner and uses Johnson & Starley approved systems for warm air heating. The business is GAS SAFE, OFTEC and HETAS accredited. Pipework is fitted in copper rather than plastic.
The business offers four service plans for boilers and heating systems, ranging from annual servicing only to cover for boiler, heating system and controls. Plans start at £8.80 per month or £95.60 per year when paid upfront. Each plan includes an annual boiler service, service reminders and discounts on other work. Higher-tier plans cover central heating repairs such as pumps, radiator valves and control valves, powerflushing and chemical treatments. The Ultimate System Care plan includes boiler replacement for an equivalent model if the boiler is less than eight years old and beyond economical repair, provided it has been serviced annually by Groves Gas.
