About Heppelthwaite The Red Van Plumbers
Heppelthwaite The Red Van Plumbers is a family-run plumbing and heating business based in Bourne End, near High Wycombe. It has traded since 1948 and is part of the Evans Group. The business employs approximately 20 gas engineers and plumbers, with a dedicated customer care team.
Plumbing services include general plumbing work, emergency repairs, leaks and repairs, bathroom designs and installations, shower replacement, water softeners, mobility upgrades with grab rails and walk-in showers, and commercial plumbing for schools, hospitals and businesses. Heating services cover boiler installation, boiler repair, boiler servicing, gas safety certificates, central heating systems, underfloor heating, heat pumps, biomass heating, power flushing, hot water cylinders, smart heating controls and air conditioning. The business also provides renewable energy systems.
Heppelthwaite covers Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey and West London, extending approximately 20 miles from its warehouse. All gas engineers are Gas Safe registered, fully trained and CRB checked. The majority are employed directly rather than agency staff. The business is a Worcester Bosch approved installer at Platinum level and is registered with Gas Safe, Oftec, MCS, Safe Contractor and Construction Line. It holds over 900 Checkatrade reviews and won the Face of Which? 2015 Competition. Staff remain with the company on average for over 15 years, and the business runs an apprenticeship scheme.
