About HJZ Plumbing
HJZ Plumbing is an independently owned plumbing business based in Kingston upon Hull. It carries out general plumbing work, emergency plumbing, drain cleaning and repairs, bathroom installation and renovation, tap repair and replacement, leak repair, radiator repair and replacement, and shower repair and installation. The business also fits Air Source Heat Pumps. Henry, the owner, has been working as a plumber since 1987 and established HJZ Plumbing in 2017.
The business covers Hull, Beverley, Cottingham, Hessle, Anlaby, North Ferriby, Brough, Hedon, Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield and Goole. Work includes tap repairs and replacements, toilet repairs, radiator work, pipe repairs, valve replacements, sink and basin fitting, appliance connections, outside taps, water pressure diagnosis, and general maintenance. Most repairs are completed on the first visit as the business carries a full range of common parts in the van. For bigger jobs, an assessment visit is offered first and a written quote is provided with everything itemised. The business is fully insured with £2 million public liability cover. Weekday rates start from £178 plus parts, with evening, weekend and overnight rates higher. An assessment visit costs £85, deducted from the final bill if work goes ahead. A 10 per cent discount is available for elderly customers, NHS workers and returning clients.
