About J O'Hare Plumbing & Heating
J O'Hare Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating business run by Jonathan O'Hare in Hexham. The business installs and services boilers, designs and fits bathrooms, carries out gas work, installs heating systems including underfloor heating, and provides general plumbing maintenance. Emergency call-outs are available, and landlord gas safety certificates are issued.
Jonathan is Gas Safe registered and City and Guilds qualified. He has spent years on site and now runs the business in his own name. Every gas job is certified, and appliances are tightness tested before sign-off. Bathrooms range from full refits to wet room conversions, with work including marble finishes, freestanding baths, twin basins and walk-in showers. Heating work covers cast iron and designer radiators with brass and antique valves. New gas supplies are run and tested, ready for appliance connection.
The business covers all of Northumberland and Newcastle, including North Shields and Whitley Bay. Jonathan visits to measure and assess the work, then provides a fixed price before starting. Dust sheets are laid, tools are put away, and the site is left as found apart from the new work. Gas Safe certificates and printed readouts are provided on completion. Most work comes from repeat customers or referrals from neighbours. Jonathan answers the phone himself, quotes the job, carries out the work, and handles any follow-up.
