About Limitless Heating
Limitless Heating Ltd is a heating and plumbing business based in Dalkeith, working across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Its roots in Dalkeith go back to 1978, and it still works from the same premises. The business was incorporated as a limited company in 2017 and rebranded as Limitless Heating Ltd in 2024, and many long-standing customers will know it as Melville, Whitson & Muir.
It installs, services and repairs gas and oil boilers, working with Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Glow-Worm. Its Gas Safe and OFTEC registered engineers also handle radiators, controls, power flushing and full heating systems, along with plumbing such as taps, showers, hot water cylinders and repairs. Complete bathroom design and installation is also offered. For landlords, it provides CP12 gas safety certificates and Legionella assessments across the Lothians, and its oil boiler servicing and repairs extend across the rural Lothians and Scottish Borders.
The team is led by managing director Allan Melville and operations director Chris Muir, and includes engineers, a plumber, an office team and apprentices.
