About Lombardi Heating Ltd
Lombardi Heating is a Gas Safe registered heating engineer and plumber based in Exeter, run by Ben Blyth. The business specialises in boiler installations, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, landlord gas safety certificates and central heating work, alongside domestic plumbing. It covers Exeter, Alphington, Topsham and nearby areas.
Ben trained as a heating engineer after working as a project manager in the corporate world, and has continued to invest in training including Heat Geek Mastery and Kimbo Betty's Northampton Heating Academy to build understanding of low-temperature heating, system performance and energy-efficient design. Boiler servicing includes safety checks, inspection of key components, burner checks, flue and combustion checks, pressure checks and assessment of the boiler's condition. A standard domestic boiler service costs £114 including VAT. For rental properties with one gas boiler, the annual boiler service and landlord gas safety certificate together cost £150 including VAT.
Lombardi Heating is an owner-led business, so customers deal directly with Ben from the first enquiry through to completion. Larger jobs and boiler installations are carried out by Ben with support from Cholwe, an apprentice. The business works for homeowners, landlords and rental properties across Exeter, Pinhoe, St Thomas, Alphington, Topsham, Broadclyst, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Boiler installations include proper system setup, full system flushing, air separation and weather compensated controls. Ben is a Vaillant Advanced Installer and mainly recommends Vaillant and Viessmann boilers.
