About Louis Gas & Heating LTD
Louis Gas & Heating Ltd is a family-run heating and plumbing business based in Rochester. Founded in the 1980s by Kyriacos Louis and now run by his son George, the business has over 40 years of combined experience. Every engineer is Gas Safe registered and directly employed.
The business carries out boiler repair, replacement and installation, central heating installation and repair, radiator work, power flushing, gas safety certificates, gas pipe installation, smart thermostat installation and underfloor heating installation. Air source heat pump installation is also offered. Plumbing services include emergency plumbing, leak detection, water leak repair, burst pipe repair, general plumbing repairs, and hot water cylinder installation and servicing. Unvented hot water cylinder services are provided for homes needing mains-pressure hot water. Bathroom work is listed as available.
Louis Gas & Heating Ltd covers Medway, including Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Strood and Rainham, and extends towards Wainscott, Cuxton and Hoo St Werburgh. The same engineer often handles both heating and plumbing work, so one call can cover jobs that overlap. An engineer will isolate the water supply if there is an active leak, then trace the fault to its source. For hot water cylinder installation, the cylinder is fitted, connected to the existing pipework and heat source, and tested for pressure and temperature before handover. The business holds a 4.9 rating from over 150 Google and Birdeye reviews.
