About Peter Higson & Co Ltd Plumbing & Heating
Peter Higson & Co Ltd Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical business based in Altrincham, serving Cheshire and South Manchester. The business carries out boiler installation and servicing, power flushing of central heating systems, bathroom renovation, new radiator fitting, leak repairs, electrical installation condition reports, and emergency call-outs. It also removes old boilers and connects new ones, replaces hot water storage units and expansion vessels, and fits timers to heating systems.
Power flushing removes debris and deposits from inside pipes using a powerful pump that circulates water and cleaning chemicals at high speed, loosening blockages before flushing them out through a drain valve. The process begins with an assessment to check if a power flush is needed. Radiators heat up more quickly and evenly after flushing, and the system is protected from corrosion and sludge build-up.
Peter Higson & Co Ltd has traded since 1985 and is incorporated as a company. The Higson family has offered plumbing and heating services since 1930. The business is Gas Safe registered, a Worcester Bosch accredited partner, and listed as a Which? trader. It holds FCA registration, Environment Agency waste carrier licensing, NAPIT and REFCOM registration. The team includes plumbing and heating engineers, electricians, a project manager and a business development manager. Customers can visit the showroom for design services, and the business offers 0% finance options and accepts card payments for all services.
