About PlumbJax Ltd.
PlumbJax Ltd is a family-owned plumbing and heating business based in Basingstoke, Gas Safe registered and run by founder Jacques le Roux. The business has 25 years' experience in plumbing, heating and gas work, and covers Basingstoke, Alton, Church Crookham, Hartley Wintney and Sherfield on Loddon.
Services include boiler repairs, servicing and new installations for all major UK boiler brands, emergency plumbing repairs for burst pipes and leaks, bathroom and kitchen installations, and work for landlords including gas safety certificates. A diagnostic visit of £78 finds the fault and the engineer quotes a fixed price before any repair starts. Annual boiler servicing costs £126. New boilers, bathrooms and kitchens are quoted after a free survey. BoilerJax service plans from £12.50 a month cover annual boiler servicing and labour for repairs, with call-out and diagnostic charges waived for members.
For emergency leaks, the team stops the water, finds the cause and carries out the repair, then handles reinstatement work such as drying, ceiling and wall repairs, and liaising with insurers. Work begins with a WhatsApp message or phone call, and the business operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. Engineers are trained on all major boiler brands and qualified for unvented hot water systems. The business is rated 5.0 on Google from 146 reviews. Prices include VAT and are fixed before work starts. Overshoes are worn, dust sheets protect floors and stairs, and homes are left clean and tidy.
