About Protech Gas Services Ltd
Protech Gas Services Ltd is a boiler installation and servicing business based in Leigh. It installs combi, system and conventional boilers from Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal and Baxi, and it services and repairs all makes of boiler. The business covers Leigh, Wigan, Bolton, Warrington, Manchester and throughout the Northwest.
All engineers are Gas Safe registered and fully qualified to work on domestic gas appliances. During installation, the business carries out work to meet UK safety standards and Building Regulations. Boiler servicing begins with an external inspection for corrosion, leaks and pilot light colour, then the casing is removed to inspect and clean interior parts including the heat exchanger, burner, main injector, safety devices and spark probe. Seals, pipework and flue terminals are checked, gas pressure and flow settings are tested, and the boiler is run to check for faults during operation. Temperature controls are tested, and a service report is left at the end of the visit.
The business offers free quotes and carries out boiler replacements and repairs for homeowners. Manufacturer warranties are provided with installations. An emergency repair service is available 24 hours a day. The price quoted is the price paid.
