About Renu Kitchens and Bathrooms
Renu Kitchens and Bathrooms is a kitchen and bathroom design and installation business based in Perth, founded in 2019 by Craig Smith, a joiner, and Niall Laughland, a plumber. The firm now employs 17 staff including designers, project managers, joiners, plumbers and apprentices. All installation teams are employed in-house.
Renu designs kitchens and bathrooms and supplies products from JT Ellis, Crosswater, Porcelanosa and Highlife. It is the exclusive Scottish retail partner for JT Ellis kitchens, which are British-built. Kitchen and bathroom projects start with a design appointment where in-house designers create 3D visualisations. Installation is managed from rip-out to final completion by the in-house team of joiners and plumbers working together.
The business also offers drainage services across Perth, Perthshire, Fife, Dundee and Angus. These include blockage removal using high pressure water jetting or mechanical springs, CCTV surveying with recorded footage, drain repair and installation, maintenance, investigations, water mains repair, leak detection and jetting. Work covers reactive blockage removal, pipe cleaning, septic tank maintenance, tank installation and resin patch repair systems. The firm can diagnose drainage-related problems such as damp, leaks, subsidence and odours.
Renu works across Scotland from its Perth showroom. The business was recognised as Perthshire's Employer of the Year in 2022 at the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards.
