About Roseland Plumbing and Heat Pumps
Roseland Plumbing and Heat Pumps is a family-run business based in Truro specialising in air source and ground source heat pump installations and servicing across Cornwall. The team installs heat pumps in homes from Penzance to the Roseland Peninsula, including coastal properties in St Mawes, Portscatho and Veryan, and rural homes and barn conversions. The business also designs and fits underfloor heating systems and upgrades radiators to work with heat pump installations.
Annual servicing of heat pumps is offered from April to September, with a complete health check that includes the ground loop collector for ground source systems and heating and hot water systems if installed by the team. Each service is planned in advance and carried out by the engineers. Underfloor heating operates at lower water temperatures than radiators, distributes warmth evenly across rooms and allows independent temperature control for each area. Radiators can be upgraded to larger or more efficient models to work at lower flow temperatures with heat pumps.
The business has over 20 years of experience and is run by Dom, Joe, Luke and Tom, with renewables manager Jim visiting properties to assess heating needs before installation. Roseland Plumbing and Heat Pumps is MCS certified, a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code and OFTEC registered. The team can apply for the Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme on behalf of eligible homeowners, offering up to £7,500 towards installation costs.
