About RS Plumbing and Heating
RS Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing and heating business in East Grinstead run by Rob, a Gas Safe registered engineer with over 13 years on the tools. The business carries out boiler installs, gas safety certificates, bathroom refurbishments, kitchen installs, radiator repairs and unvented cylinder checks across East Grinstead, West Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
Boiler installs are supplied and fitted at fixed prices, with any extra costs discussed before work begins. The business is an approved installer for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Ideal and Nest smart thermostats, and every boiler is installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer with manufacturer-backed warranties of 5 to 10 years. Landlord CP12 gas safety certificates are issued on the day, fully Gas Safe documented. Bathroom refurbishments include tiling, plumbing, electrics, fitting and finishing, with the business project-managing the whole job. Kitchen installs cover new sinks, taps, dishwashers, washing machines, water filters and instant hot taps. Radiator repairs address cold radiators, leaks, banging pipes and sludgy systems, with MagnaCleanse power-flush available from £450 for an average house with seven radiators. Unvented cylinders receive an annual G3 safety service for £90, or combined with a boiler service for £180 plus parts.
Plumbing is charged at hourly rates from £80 per hour on weekdays, with evening and Sunday rates higher. Boiler services start at £120 plus parts. Materials are charged at trade discount with a 20% mark-up. The business opens Monday to Sunday, 6:30am to 6pm, with emergency call-outs available outside those hours.
