S P Taylor Plumbing & Gas Services is a family-run plumbing business based in Walsall. It has traded since 2001 and carries out boiler repair, central heating maintenance and repair, cooker installation and servicing, bathroom suite fitting, tap fitting, leak repair, and fire servicing. The business also provides landlord gas safety checks on boilers and cookers.
S P Taylor covers Walsall, Pelsall, Aldridge, Lichfield and the surrounding areas. Four fully qualified engineers work for the business and carry out emergency call-outs on a 24-hour basis. Jobs begin with a survey to assess the work needed, followed by a free quote. The business provides a price list showing costs for individual services.
The business holds public liability insurance for each engineer. All engineers have passed criminal background checks, drive fully insured and taxed company vans, and wear uniforms with the business logo. The engineers install 70 to 90 boilers each year. S P Taylor has been voted for in the BestOf awards by the local community. Payment is accepted in cash. Customers receive a phone call a couple of weeks after completion to check they remain satisfied with the work.
