About Sevenoaks Gas
Sevenoaks Gas is a heating business based in Underriver, covering Sevenoaks and surrounding areas. It services and repairs gas and oil boilers for domestic and light commercial properties, and carries out emergency call-outs for heating and plumbing problems. The listed services include gas safety checks, landlords' gas safety records, boiler servicing, boiler strip-downs, boiler repairs, boiler installation, system power flushing, heating efficiency improvements, smart programmers, replacement radiators, unvented cylinders, gas hobs and cookers, and emergency heating and plumbing call-outs.
Gas safety checks cover all appliances and pipework including the gas metre, shut-off valve, flue and chimney, and include spillage tests, ventilation checks and pressure tests. A landlords' gas safety record is issued annually to meet legal requirements for letting properties. Boiler services include cleaning the condensate trap and magnetic filter. For older boilers or when carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide ratios are high, a full strip-down is carried out. Oil boiler services include a new nozzle and hose, fan checks and baffle cleaning. Boiler repairs cover gas and oil models when spares are available.
The business addresses heating system efficiency by identifying causes such as un-serviced boilers, programmer settings and sludge buildup. Power flushing removes magnetite and rust deposits from inside pipework and radiators. A magnetic filter can be fitted after flushing. The business covers oil and gas heating, LPG systems and hot water provision.
