About SOS Drains Ltd
SOS Drains Ltd is a family-owned drainage business based in Dumfries, established in 1999. It provides drain unblocking, septic tank and cesspit emptying, cleaning and repair, CCTV surveys, high pressure water jetting, robotic cutting and tanker services across Dumfries and Galloway and beyond.
The business unblocks blocked sinks and drains with a fixed price residential service. Septic tanks and cesspits of any size, from single households to communal and industrial tanks, are emptied and cleaned. High pressure water jetting removes blockages from drains, sewers and stack pipes, clearing soft silt and hard substances such as scale or cement. CCTV survey equipment produces detailed surveys, reports and mapping. Robotic cutters are used for more complex jobs. Tanker services remove contaminated water and liquid waste from both commercial and residential settings. The business also offers pre-planned maintenance.
SOS Drains operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. The fleet includes fully equipped vans, lorries and specialist off-road tanker and jetter combinations to reach difficult sites. The business is fully SEPA registered for the carriage of waste, which is transported to a registered waste disposal site for recycling. Drain unblocking services include rodding and water jetting.
