About Taggas Ltd

Taggas Ltd is a plumbing and heating business based in Retford, formed over 20 years ago by the current owner Tim. In 2015 it became a limited company and expanded to include boilers, renewable energy, solar PV, battery storage, air source heat pumps and electric car chargers. The business is family-run and offers installation, servicing and maintenance for boilers and renewable energy products.

Services include gas, oil, LPG and electric boiler installation, unvented cylinders, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, solar PV, solar thermal, battery storage and EV car chargers. Annual checks and full system checks are available for boilers and renewable energy systems, with inspections covering leaks, corrosion and wear on all components. The business also carries out general plumbing and heating work for residential and commercial customers.

Taggas covers most places in the UK and works with brands including Mitsubishi, Samsung and Vaillant. The team are Gas Safe and Oftec registered. Installation begins with a visit to understand the customer's needs and budget, and a full system health check is run with every boiler installation. Monthly payment plans are available, and free estimates and quotes are offered for boiler installations. The business holds a 12-year warranty on boilers and is an accredited installer of air source heat pumps. Customers can claim £7,500 from the Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme towards air source heat pump installation costs.
