About TipTop Taps
TipTop Taps is a plumbing business in Spennymoor serving the North East. It repairs and installs outside taps, fixes leaking and dripping taps, repairs shower valves, and carries out small plumbing repairs including leaks, toilet issues and pipework faults. The business works across Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle and the wider North East.
Shower valve repairs form a significant part of the work. Common issues addressed include fluctuating water temperature, low pressure, dripping water and stiff handles. The business diagnoses and repairs thermostatic valves, replacing worn cartridges, seals and internal components where possible. The repair process involves fault diagnosis, isolating and inspecting the valve, replacing components and testing water pressure and temperature control before finishing. The business aims to repair first and replaces the full valve only if the body is cracked or corroded, replacement cartridges are discontinued, or internal damage is too severe.
TipTop Taps supplies and installs outside taps and carries out tap repairs. Work begins with diagnosis of the fault, and the business explains costs upfront with transparent pricing. The plumbers treat homes with respect, working neatly and tidily throughout. The business responds quickly when customers need help and focuses on building strong relationships throughout the North East. Skilled workmanship is delivered for everything from outside taps and shower valves to small plumbing repairs.
