About Tweed Plumbing & Heating
Tweed Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating business based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, established in October 2002 by Stephen Whitehead. Stephen trained through a traditional apprenticeship and has over 30 years in the trade. The business offers a comprehensive plumbing and heating service for residential and small commercial properties, from fixing dripping taps and overflows to full new house installations.
The services listed include work on gas, LPG, oil and renewable heating systems. Recent training covers heat pump technologies, solar thermal for hot water systems, and ventilation and heat recovery systems. The business covers a radius of approximately 45 miles, working on both sides of the Scottish border, and is willing to travel further if required. Tweed Plumbing & Heating is based in the historic walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the most northern town in England, 2½ miles from the Scottish border. Most work comes from repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations. Free quotes are available on request.
