About Verdant Heating - Plumber Barnstaple
Verdant Heating is a family-run, Gas Safe accredited heating and plumbing business based in Barnstaple. It installs, services and repairs gas boilers for homes and businesses, and carries out heating system conversions from oil or electric to modern gas central heating. The business also designs and fits underfloor heating, installs heat pumps, integrates smart controls, and provides general plumbing services including bathroom installations, radiator work, gas pipe installations and emergency repairs.
The business covers North Devon. Chris, the owner, is a Gas Safe-certified engineer who founded Verdant Heating after over a decade of hands-on experience servicing domestic boilers and plumbing emergencies. He has expanded the company's offerings to include system conversions, underfloor heating, renewable technologies, smart controls integration, landlord safety certifications and commercial gas projects.
Verdant Heating works through a four-step process: customers request a free quote by phone, email or online form, receive a detailed estimate, choose a convenient appointment time, and certified technicians complete the job. Boiler installations include personalised selection advice, professional removal and safe disposal of old boilers, precision installation by certified Gas Safe engineers, and aftercare support with manufacturer warranties. The business provides Gas Safety Certificates and compliance inspections for landlords, and offers specialist holiday-let maintenance.
