About William Dent & Son
William Dent & Son is a family-run plumbing and heating business based in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. Founded in 1934 by William Dent, the business has grown through generations of the family. Bobby Dent joined his father in 1957 and later expanded the company, and his sons Richard and Robert along with grandson Johnathan have since joined the business.
The services listed are full bathroom installations, boiler installation and servicing, general plumbing repairs, underfloor heating installations in electric or wet systems, landlord gas safety checks and certificates, and commercial plumbing services including bathroom installations, repairs and maintenance. The business covers Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Fife and Edinburgh. Work begins with a free quote, and the business provides risk assessments, method statements and public liability for commercial jobs. Underfloor heating projects are designed and installed from start to finish. The business serves both domestic and commercial customers, including landlords.
