About Wood & Williams
Wood & Williams is a family-run heating engineering business based in Poole. The firm installs boilers, carries out repairs and servicing, and provides 24/7 emergency call-outs for heating and hot water breakdowns. Services include LPG boiler installation and servicing, oil boiler work, smart heating controls and renewable heating options. The business works for homeowners and small commercial properties across Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Engineers are Gas Safe and OFTEC registered, and the firm holds Ideal MAX, Ambiente and Baxi accreditations. Work begins with a site survey to assess the property and heating needs. Boiler installations follow manufacturer guidance and are commissioned to Gas Safe standards, with extended warranties available through manufacturer partnerships. Annual servicing includes gas safety certificates for landlords. For LPG systems, the business coordinates tank or cylinder siting with Calor and manages regulatory compliance. Emergency repairs are available around the clock to restore heating quickly.
Wood & Williams has 18 years' combined experience and is familiar with Dorset building types including Victorian terraces, coastal properties and period homes. The firm is a Checkatrade member with independently verified reviews. Gas Safety Certificates are issued on completion of work, and service agreements and parts warranties back the installations and repairs.
