About David Keir Plumbing & Heating
David Keir Plumbing & Heating is an OFTEC registered heating engineer business in Perth run by David Keir. The business carries out oil boiler installations, replacements and servicing, central heating repairs, radiator repairs, leak repairs, and installations of washing machines and dishwashers. It also removes water from oil tanks, identifies and fixes heating system noise, and installs thermostats.
The business covers Perthshire. David Keir has more than two decades of experience in plumbing and heating. Services include oil boiler certificates and landlord safety certificates. Radiator problems such as air locks and sludge are resolved, and thermostats are fitted to help central heating systems run more efficiently by operating the boiler only when necessary. Leak repairs are carried out for both small and large leaks, as water damage can accumulate over time. Washing machine and dishwasher installations are undertaken when pipes need extending or other complications arise. Oil tank water removal is offered because rainwater and condensation can build up in tanks, freeze in cold weather and block fuel supply, or cause oil pump failure. Heating system noise is investigated to find and resolve the root cause.
David Keir Plumbing & Heating provides free quotes over the phone or via WhatsApp message. Annual servicing of oil boilers by an OFTEC registered technician is recommended, during which key components such as the oil filter, pump, nozzle and photocell are inspected and serviced. An OFTEC certificate is issued after each service to confirm the boiler meets required standards.
