About Plumbox
Plumbox is a plumbing and heating company based in Cambridge. It services boilers, installs new boilers, carries out boiler repairs, and provides plumbing and heating work for homes and rental properties. The business also installs and services unvented cylinders and water softeners. Boiler servicing covers removal of the front casing, inspection and cleaning of all parts including the burner and heat exchanger, checking pipework and seals, inspecting the flue for safety, examining pressure and testing the expansion vessel, and testing performance. The business works on combi, system and heat-only boilers, as well as natural gas, LPG, oil and electric boilers.
Plumbox covers Cambridge, including Chesterton, Cherry Hinton and Trumpington, as well as nearby villages such as Milton, Histon, Cottenham, Sawston and Fulbourn, and other areas across Cambridgeshire. The business is Gas Safe and OFTEC registered, and accredited by Ideal, Worcester and Vaillant. It has 15 years' experience. Boiler cover plans are available for homeowners and landlords and include an annual service with priority for callouts. If an engineer finds a problem during servicing, the issue is explained and options are discussed before any further work is carried out. Related services include boiler repairs, power flushing for sludge and cold spots, and new boiler installation. The business is verified by Google and Checkatrade.
